Accessibility Statement for The Kid's Canvas and Artful Cheers

Effective from January 26, 2026

The Kid’s Canvas is committed to making our services, events, and website accessible to everyone. Our goal is to provide an inclusive, welcoming environment for people of all ages and abilities. This accessibility statement covers our website, in-person workshops, school programs, and pop-up events.

1.Website accessibility

  • We follow best practices for accessible web content: meaningful alt text for images, clear headings, logical content structure, and high-contrast text where possible.

  • We aim for keyboard navigability, descriptive link text, and accessible forms with labels and validation messages.

  • We test pages on common browsers and use responsive design to support assistive technologies.

  • Known limitations are documented on the site and updated when addressed.

2. In-person events & classes

  • We provide reasonable accommodations at workshops and classes — e.g., adapted tools, extra assistance, quiet spaces, and modified instructions — when requested in advance.

  • Our instructors are trained to work inclusively with children of varying needs; we request parents/guardians inform us of any special requirements before sessions.

3. Booking & communication

 4. Feedback & complaints

If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us via the channels above. We will respond within 5 business days and aim to address the issue promptly. Formal complaints are escalated to management for review.

5. Continuous improvement

We review accessibility practices annually and after major site or program changes. Improvements and fixes are recorded and implemented where feasible.

6. Legal & scope

This statement is not a full guarantee of compliance with any specific local or international accessibility law; it outlines our commitment and practical measures. Where applicable, we will work toward compliance with recognized accessibility standards.
